Personal Injury and Medical
Malpractice Victims
As a Florida personal injury lawyer law firm with offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, the Palm Beaches and the Florida Keys, we take it upon ourselves to be actively give back to our communities. Some of our most rewarding community based activities and charities include Stand Among Friends, whose goal is to help those suffering from a myriad of neurological conditions, including paralysis, and Reading for Life, a community based volunteer program to support youth literacy. The Reading for Life program brings Mr. Lipsky to local inner city elementary schools to read books to kindergarten and first grade students. The books are then donated to the teacher for their class room’s library.
As volunteers at these charities, and as a sponsor of Big Momma’s annual holiday and back-to-school programs we demonstrate our desire to give something back. Big Momma, whose real name is Essie Reed, helps to provide elementary school children in the Fort Lauderdale community with backpacks fully stocked with all the supplies they will need to get their school year off to a productive start. Big Momma, through her Team of Life organization, also tries to make sure every child in Fort Lauderdale has at least one present during the holidays, handing out nearly 30,000 gifts annually.
Some of our more recent charity sponsorships include being a title sponsor of the Coach Schnellenger and Stand Among Friends Golf Tournament in Boca Raton. The tournament raised funds for The Center for the Study of Neurological Disabilities at Florida Atlantic University, which was founded through the efforts of Stand Among Friends. The Disability Center provides resources for all persons with disabilities to live a full and independent life, through technological assistance and education.
As proud sponsors of youth sports throughout South Florida, we proudly sponsor the Chaminade School Football Team in Hollywood, Florida, the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), the City of Plantation Athletic League and Broward Lacrosse Advantage, which promotes young lacrosse.
We are proudest with READING FOR LIFE, a community based volunteer project to support literacy. Through the Reading for Life program, Mr. Lipsky regularly volunteers his time at local Fort Lauderdale and Miami public elementary schools reading to kindergarten and first grade students.
In addition to our charitable work, we cover updated personal injury news and research through our blog: Floridapersonalinjurylawyerblog.com. Our legal blog covers court decisions, medical and technological research and issues which we believe will be informative and of interest to our fellow Floridians. We keep our legal blog updated on a regular basis with news and information which we believe will help keep others informed and safer on our roadways and while traveling throughout the State of Florida.
While not political in nature, our blog does touch on actions by the Florida Legislature and Federal Government which affects or limits the rights of those seriously injured by someone else’s negligent conduct. As a Florida personal injury lawyer, Joseph Lipsky tries to educate his fellow Floridians about the effect so-called tort reform has on the rights of others. While most people, through the help of an advanced media campaign by businesses and insurance companies, believe limiting the rights injured people have is a good thing; that is, until an accident happens in which they are injured. It is at that time that those who thought limiting other’s rights was a good idea, realize that they are now precluded in seeking justice for themselves. To that end, we hope you read our blog with an open mind and in hopes of keeping informed.
We are here to help all seriously injured Floridians with the life altering affects of car accidents, truck accidents, trip and falls, slip and falls, medical malpractice and criminal attacks on apartment or business properties.
